In the top four challenging the league and playing in the champions league

Iยดm gutted

Will we ever catch them and compete with them properly ?

That's a separate issue, and one that I'd probably agree with you on. Having foisted this fucking piece of shit on us is one thing, expecting everyone to act like they're at a Barry Manilow concert is another. On all of that stuff they need to fuck off, and part of me hopes it goes of against the likes of Boro, just to bring the point home to them.

Completely agree.

Perhaps the club should stop trying to drive folk away then.

Re: Tottenham
Johnson 7.24 - we're there, we're stuck with it. I don't want the club to wither and die so I hope as many people as possible can get their heads around the OS. I personally think it's an abominable piece of shit as a football ground and I therefore either have the choice, on the back of that, to stay or to go. I choose to go, whenever I can, and I'll make the effort to go more because I'm genuinely worried about the future of the club.

I know it's stating the obvious but the decision to move isn't reversible. It's also going to get worse when those cunts at Tottenham reveal their shiny new fit for purpose stadium. All we have in that situation is collective defiance in the face of the whole thing. That won't happen if lots of people walk away.

Since when did Side become SO West Ham anyway? Was it when he got that half season ticket or when he booked his seat at the reservation centre for the new gaff?

The best thing that could happen would be if all the people that genuinely hate it stop going. We can move on once they have fucked off.

Re: Tottenham
The fact people are moaning about views from seats when real football attendance was about NOT knowing where you'd end up STANDING or even if you'd able to see the game clearly AND where you'd end up at the end of a game from surges and congas.

Now you want your little piece of the stadium to get all pissy about...... as The Jam once sung THAT'S GENTRIFICATION you numb nut.

A favourite of mine is people moaning about what the view will be from their PLASTIC seat, there in one instance is the gentrification of football which you ALL hate.

Yeah PROPER weird that one, imagine wanting to in a tight ground, close to the pitch. MENTAL that...

Re: Tottenham
Always been a favourite of mine that one.

"Upton Park was too far away after the terracing went"

So let's move to a gaff that has stands even further away then, and claim it's better...

LOGIC

Waffle on, still had an atmosphere over UP and plenty of proper days / nights over the last 20 years, all while being close to the pitch...

Yes, was far too young to have spent many a day and night on the North Bank. Must have dreamt all that.

Re: Tottenham
Fact though, still you wouldn't know you was too young to realise it was the first destruction that was the ruination of that stadium.

Re: Tottenham
No different to the GAP between the old BMU at UP and the pitch, just there was the BML in-between which again was a GAP away from the pitch compared to the UP original Southbank stand it replaced.

That was ok for the whiners though.......your all about 22 years too late complaining about UP being destroyed.
